March 20: COVID-19 Letter To Parents

Dear Parents,

As of the posting of this letter we are still open and will remain open unless we are directed to close.  As things change from one day to the next, if we are directed to close, I will send you an email and also post on Facebook and on our website.

This week we called or spoke to all families.  We left voice messages for anyone we did not reach.  That said, we anticipate 46 children next week.  We have made sure to have enough staff on hand to adhere to Mayor Jimenez’s directive that childcare classes can have no more than 10 in the group.

The ONLY parents who will be billed next week, are those who told us in person, by phone or email that they would be attending.  As the staff was scheduled based on those commitments, if you said you would be here and do no attend, we will still need to bill your account.

Moving forward, if you have kept your child at home and wish to return prior to the opening of Miami Dade Public schools, simply give us a call or send an email during the week so that we can add your child and have proper staff on hand.  Tuition billing for all families will begin again when Miami Dade Schools reopens and your fee agreement will be back in force.

I will be posting daily activities for you to do with your children on our Facebook page. Next week we will start streaming circle and storytime on our page as well so stay tuned to Facebook.  Once on the page, your child can watch them at a time that is good for your family.

I hope you take this time to enjoy quality time with your child.

Beth Rosenthal Davis, Ed.S, NBCT
