Dear Parents,
School Readiness is a program to assist low-income families with childcare subsidies. In light of the COVID Pandemic, the Early Learning Coalition has raised to threshold on what parents can earn to qualify for these subsidies.
If you have been denied before and now meet the guidelines, REAPPLY. There is no longer a requirement to work 20 hours a week or be in school. Parents who are out of work can now qualify.
If you NOW meet these guidelines with your current job or lack of job, you are encouraged to apply. If you qualify you could save 50% or more on your childcare costs.
If you meet these income guidelines, you are encouraged to apply before the money runs out. If you have been rejected in the past, you should also reapply.
