Gold Seal Quality Care

The DCF Child Care Program Office is responsible for approving accrediting agencies for participation in the Gold Seal Quality Care Program. These accrediting agencies must meet or exceed the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) standards, the standards of the National Association of Family Child Care, or the standards of the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation Commission.

APPLE


APPLE (Accredited Professional Preschool Learning Environment) is an early learning program accreditation. With over 600 accredited programs and many more engaged in the process, APPLE is 'Solid to the Core'! In Florida, APPLE is accepted into the Gold Seal of Quality program.
